Ethicon MONOCRYL Plus is an antibacterial absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25 and coated with triclosan (Plus Technology) to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture surface.

This USP 5-0 violet variant measures 70 cm in length and is supplied with a 13 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting prime needle, designed for fine skin closure and delicate tissue approximation with reduced trauma.

MONOCRYL Plus delivers high initial tensile strength, smooth tissue passage and predictable absorption. The monofilament structure minimises tissue drag and supports accurate wound edge alignment.

The triclosan coating helps reduce the risk of surgical site infection by inhibiting bacterial colonisation on the suture material.

Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
