LUXSUTURES® Luxylene Polypropylene sutures are non-absorbable monofilament surgical sutures designed for secure and long-term wound closure. Manufactured from isotactic polypropylene, these sutures deliver excellent tensile strength with minimal tissue reactivity, making them suitable for delicate procedures requiring permanent support.
The smooth monofilament construction allows atraumatic passage through tissue, reducing drag and minimising bacterial adherence. The blue suture colour enhances visibility during placement and knot tying, supporting accurate handling in clinical and veterinary environments.
This variant is supplied with an HR 13 taper point needle, designed for atraumatic penetration of soft tissue without cutting fibres. The taper point geometry enables smooth tissue passage and controlled wound edge approximation. Supplied sterile and single-use.
