Ethicon COATED VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and smooth tissue glide during soft tissue approximation and ligation procedures.
This USP 2-0 undyed suture is supplied as twelve 45 cm (18 inch) strands in a non-needled configuration, designed for ligation and soft tissue approximation procedures where a needle is not required.
COATED VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each strand is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 24 for professional hospital and clinical environments.
