Product description

Ethicon ETHIBOND EXCEL is a synthetic non absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyester and coated to enhance handling characteristics while providing reliable knot security and long term tensile strength.

This USP 2-0 suture is supplied in a 90 cm (36 inch) length and features a white braided construction for clear visibility against tissue. It is armed with a single SHT-1 taperpoint needle measuring 36 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed to pass smoothly through soft tissues while enabling controlled, accurate needle placement.

ETHIBOND EXCEL sutures are intended for permanent tissue approximation where dependable wound support and consistent handling are required. They produce minimal tissue reaction while maintaining stable mechanical performance throughout healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
