Product description

This ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code 1674BH, is designed for secure soft tissue approximation where increased tensile strength and extended strand length are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable nylon monofilament, ETHILON provides smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reactivity and dependable long-term wound support.

The USP 2-0 size delivers higher tensile strength suitable for skin closure and soft tissue procedures requiring firm, durable approximation. The extended 30 inch (75 cm) strand length offers increased working reach, making it particularly suitable for longer suture lines and deeper closures.

1674BH is supplied single-armed with one FSLX reverse cutting needle measuring 19 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse cutting configuration enhances penetration through tougher tissue such as skin while helping reduce tissue cut-through and ensuring secure wound edge alignment.

Supplied sterile and single-use in a box of 36 sutures, this product is intended for professional hospital and surgical environments requiring reliable non-absorbable wound closure.
