This ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code 4985G, is designed for high-tension soft tissue approximation where maximum tensile strength and extended strand length are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable nylon monofilament, ETHILON delivers smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reactivity and dependable long-term wound support.

The USP 1 size provides substantial tensile strength suitable for fascia closure, deep tissue approximation and procedures requiring durable support. The extended 40 inch (100 cm) strand length offers increased working reach, making it ideal for longer suture lines and deeper surgical fields.

4985G is supplied single-armed with one CTX taper point needle measuring 48 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature. The taper point configuration enables controlled, atraumatic penetration through soft tissue while supporting secure and precise approximation.

Supplied sterile and single-use in a box of 12 sutures, this product is intended for professional hospital and surgical environments requiring strong, permanent non-absorbable tissue support.
