Product description

Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to deliver predictable absorption and reliable short-term wound support.

This USP 2-0 suture is supplied in a 150 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction to enhance intraoperative visibility. It is supplied without needles, allowing clinicians flexibility to cut, tie, or combine with preferred needle types for ligation or custom suturing techniques.

MONOCRYL sutures provide smooth tissue passage, excellent handling characteristics and secure knot performance while eliciting minimal tissue reaction. They are suitable for tissues requiring short-term support during healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
