Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to deliver predictable absorption and reliable short-term wound support.
This USP 2-0 suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and features an undyed monofilament construction to minimise tissue visibility. It is armed with a single reverse cutting Prime needle measuring 24 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature, providing controlled penetration and accurate cutting performance in skin and tougher tissue layers.
MONOCRYL sutures offer smooth tissue passage, excellent handling characteristics and secure knot performance while eliciting minimal tissue reaction. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
