Product description

Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to provide consistent handling characteristics and predictable absorption.

This USP 3-0 suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction for enhanced visibility during placement. It is armed with a single conventional taperpoint needle measuring 22 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, allowing smooth passage through soft tissues with controlled penetration and minimal tissue trauma.

MONOCRYL sutures provide reliable short-term wound support followed by complete absorption, making them suitable for soft tissue approximation where permanent tensile strength is not required. They elicit minimal tissue reaction and maintain stable performance throughout healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
