Product description

This PROLENE Polypropylene Non-Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Suture, product code EP8707H, is designed for durable and reliable soft tissue approximation where permanent tensile strength is required. Manufactured from blue dyed polypropylene monofilament, the suture offers excellent strength retention, minimal tissue reactivity, and low tissue drag.

The USP 3-0 diameter provides increased strength for soft tissue, fascia, and muscle closure while maintaining good handling characteristics. The 75 cm suture length allows extended reach and flexibility during surgical procedures.

EP8707H is supplied with two BV-1 taperpoint needles, each measuring 9.3 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The taperpoint geometry enables smooth tissue penetration with reduced trauma, while EVERPOINT technology ensures consistent needle sharpness and predictable penetration performance throughout use.
