This PROLENE Polypropylene Blue Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture with HEMOSEAL™ Technology, product code HS6855H, is engineered for reliable soft tissue and vascular approximation where enhanced sealing capability and permanent tensile strength are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable polypropylene monofilament, PROLENE ensures smooth tissue passage, minimal inflammatory response and durable wound support.
The USP 4-0 diameter offers balanced tensile performance suitable for fine soft tissue and layered closure procedures. The extended 36 inch (91 cm) strand length, supplied in a double-armed configuration, supports efficient continuous suturing and symmetrical closure techniques.
This suture is double-armed with two SH taper point needles (26 mm). The taper point configuration allows atraumatic penetration by separating tissue fibres rather than cutting, supporting controlled tissue approximation. HEMOSEAL™ Technology is designed to help reduce suture line bleeding by enhancing sealing at the needle-to-suture interface.
