Product description

Ethicon VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910, engineered to provide dependable wound support with consistent handling and minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 0 violet suture is supplied in an extended 150 cm length in an unarmed configuration, allowing surgeons to select an appropriate needle separately or utilise the suture for ligation, tying, or approximation where a needle is not required.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in gradual and predictable loss of tensile strength as healing progresses. The braided construction ensures excellent handling and secure knot performance. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional hospital and clinical environments.
