Ethicon VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910, designed to provide dependable wound support with predictable absorption and minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 6-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 13 mm conventional cutting PC needle with a 3/8 circle curvature. The conventional cutting PC needle offers sharp, controlled penetration, making it well suited for delicate or superficial tissues requiring precise cutting performance.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in gradual and predictable loss of tensile strength as healing progresses. The braided construction ensures excellent handling and secure knot performance. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional hospital and clinical environments.
