Ethicon ETHIBOND EXCEL is a synthetic non absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyester and coated to enhance handling characteristics while providing excellent knot security and long term tensile strength.

This USP 2-0 green suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and is armed with double-armed 254 mm straight trocar point needles, specifically designed to provide strong, direct penetration through very dense, fibrous or thick tissue structures where conventional needles may be insufficient.

ETHIBOND EXCEL sutures are intended for permanent tissue approximation, producing minimal tissue reaction while maintaining consistent mechanical performance throughout healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
