This ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code B7712, is designed for high-tension soft tissue approximation where strong tensile performance and dependable needle penetration are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable nylon monofilament, ETHILON provides smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reactivity and reliable long-term wound support.
The USP 1 (Metric 1) size delivers substantial tensile strength suitable for fascia closure, high-tension skin closure and general soft tissue approximation requiring durable support. The 30 cm strand length allows controlled handling in standard surgical applications.
B7712 is supplied single-armed with one FXK reverse cutting needle measuring approximately 36 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse cutting configuration enhances penetration through tougher tissue such as skin while helping reduce tissue cut-through and supporting secure wound edge alignment.
Supplied sterile and single-use in a box of 12 sutures, this product is intended for professional hospital and surgical environments requiring strong, permanent non-absorbable tissue support.
