Product description

This ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Non-Absorbable Surgical Suture, product code W689, is designed for high-tension soft tissue approximation where strong tensile strength and dual-needle configuration are required. Manufactured from non-absorbable nylon monofilament, ETHILON provides smooth tissue passage, minimal tissue reactivity and dependable long-term wound support.

The USP 1 size delivers substantial tensile performance suitable for fascia closure and demanding soft tissue procedures. The 30 inch (75 cm) strand length allows controlled handling and extended reach during deeper surgical applications.

W689 is supplied double-armed (D/A) with two KP-3 conventional cutting needles. The conventional cutting configuration supports effective penetration through tougher tissue such as skin and fascia, while enabling balanced and symmetrical closure when required.

Supplied sterile and single-use in a box of 12 sutures, this product is intended for professional hospital and surgical environments requiring strong, permanent non-absorbable tissue support.
