Ethicon VICRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated with an antibacterial agent (triclosan) to inhibit bacterial colonisation on the suture surface, helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection.

This USP 5-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 16 mm reverse cutting Prime needle with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed for exceptional precision and clean incision in delicate skin and fine soft tissue procedures.

VICRYL PLUS sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, producing minimal tissue reaction while maintaining predictable tensile strength during the early stages of wound healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional hospital and surgical environments.
