Ethicon VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910, designed to provide dependable wound support with predictable absorption and minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 4-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 16 mm reverse cutting Prime needle with a 1/2 circle curvature. The reverse cutting Prime needle is engineered to deliver sharp, controlled penetration with enhanced precision, making it suitable for delicate tissues requiring cutting efficiency and reliable handling.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in gradual loss of tensile strength as healing progresses. The braided construction ensures excellent handling and secure knot performance.
