LUXSUTURES® Luxylene Polypropylene sutures are non-absorbable monofilament surgical sutures designed for secure and long-term wound closure. Manufactured from isotactic polypropylene, these sutures provide excellent tensile strength while eliciting minimal tissue reaction, making them suitable for procedures requiring permanent wound support.

The smooth monofilament construction allows easy passage through tissue, reducing drag and minimising bacterial adherence. The blue colour improves visibility during placement and knot tying, supporting accurate and controlled handling.

This variant is supplied with a DS 19 reverse cutting needle, specifically engineered for controlled penetration of tougher tissues such as skin. The reverse cutting geometry reduces the risk of tissue tearing while enabling clean incision edges and precise suture placement. Supplied sterile and single-use, these sutures are suitable for hospital, clinical, and veterinary environments.
